Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

Written by Joshua Lee

So one of my favorite franchises are chalking up another title to add to their illustrious legacy. Metal Gear! No, I’m not talking about Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance…that one has been in the news for a while. I am talking about a new Metal Gear game that actually plays like the sneaking, enemy choking, alarm blaring game we all love. It is called Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes looks like it takes place right after the occurrences that went down in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (as they quote Paz and Chico in the long version of the trailer). It is going to be an open environment type of game which is a pretty bold and amazing step for the series. There are also vehicles that you can steal and drive…Grand Theft Snake!? I, for one, am very excited about this game and hopefully you all will too.

This new Valve video for it?
Oh man. Can’t contain the excitement! I feel like jumping around and skipping like a giddy fool!!

anime eye

Written by KD Shaw

Ever thought to yourself that your new anime cosplay outfit just doesn’t have that certain flair? Are you an otaku that just needs to jazz up your style a little? Last night, while I was perusing the interwebs, I happened upon this amazing video that at first glance totes freaked me out, but then after watching the video I was totally stunned and amazed.

YouTuber “itsthefa” is a makeup artist who puts her tutorials online. The otaku in my house just sat, staring at the screen, taking in every single moment and skill being shown, repeating, “that’s awesome.” Yes, it is awesome! You too can now create your very own anime eyes (in about a million little steps). The otaku in my house happens also to be an amazing artist. She was waiting patiently for the “shine” in the eyes. I think the thing that amazed me most was that “itsthefa” nailed the shading and the shine of the eyes.

Check it out and make sure to send pics of your anime eyes or your own crafty video.
