Mystery House Comics Is Taking Submissions For Upcoming Anthology

MHCWritten by John Barrie

January 7, 2014 (Boise, ID)  - Back in October I was lucky enough to meet Jon Keithley, a Boise comic book writer who was doing a signing to promote his brand new comic, Shivertown.  In addition to writing Shivertown, Keithley created the book’s label, Mystery House.  At the time, he mentioned that they would be looking to start 2014 by producing an anthology of writers and artists, but details were vague, so all I could do was promise DarlingDork readers that I would keep an ear out and deliver the specifics as soon as I had them.

Well, that time is now.  In conjunction with Corvid Tear Media, Mystery House is taking submissions for an anthology based on the theme “Feral.”

Artists are asked to provide five sample images displaying a range of work—for example, a figure, a landscape, motion—while they are looking for writers to provide a completed five page script on the theme.  Whether you are providing art or story, they ask that you include a cover page with your name, address, phone number, online contact information, and sixty word personal /professional biography.

Submissions are due by the first of February and can be sent (along with any additional questions you might have) to idahob5project@gmail.com.
